Great family friendly dining. Service is exceptional. Classic brick oven pizza. Makes you feel like you are in Little Italy or Brooklyn.

After passing this place for 10 years, we finally decided to go in and have dinner in the nice front outdoor patio. We had high expectations and were incredibly disappointed. When the food arrived, the salmon was incredibly salty and we had to return it. The worst was the spaghetti clam pasta. There were multiple bad clams (closed). When we called the waiter, he took the clams out of my plate and was going to speak with the chef, but never came back to tell us what the conclusion was. In sum, the dish was inedible. When the waiter came back, he hadn’t removed either of the dishes from the check and was defensive when we complained. Do not waste your time or money on this restaurant. Complete let down.

Everything is delicious, just can't send your wife in alone. Most of the workers are pigs.

Great local pizza place and Italian restaurant in Berkeley Heights. This place has fantastic food, a super staff, and an awesome ambiance. Great place for take out, or sit down. Very reasonable prices. The only downfall is sometimes some of the staff can be a little bit unpleasant.

Accidently rated 4, meant 5. Best local slice, kind staff. Needs better drink selection in take out fridge. Found my go-to for pizza night.

Terrible experience, lousy service, over 30 minutes to get food on a weeknight and the place is anything but family friendly. The owner was rude and hates children. Would not recommend wasting a penny in this place.

Most wonderful waiter. Food is delicious. My father in law takes my wife and I here regularly and always enjoy it. Big portions of good italian meals.

The service was very friendly, and the brick oven pizza was especially good. We ordered a sausage pizza with ricotta cheese and tomato, which was excellent. I also ordered the country style chicken dish, which had onions, green and red peppers; the chicken was tender and cooked well, and the sauce was flavorful.The only thing that I would suggest is that they get some high chairs for little children...I have an 18 month old daughter, and she stayed on our laps the whole time. I personally didn't mind, but other parents might not.But all in all, I would definitely recommend this place.

The food tasted very bad. Very overpriced for the quality. The worst "Italian" meal we ever tasted.We will never order from there again!

Excellent service, food and ambiance. For the price we pay we couldn't ask for more. Congratulation to all stuff and Mr Marcello. I will back more often for sure.

excellent pizza, always and superb service

A local institution, Marcello's is a family favorite because my husband and I had our first date there. Good, Italian food, served in plentiful portions can either be taken out or eaten in. Outdoor dining has been allowed in good weather. Dinged them one star because service is sometimes fabulous and sometimes not.

Sparkling white linen tablecloths, comfortable cozy seating, friendly casual indoor and outdoor dining. Tasty, healthy Italian cooking. Tonight we had pizza, it was very tasty, but their pasta with tomato sauce dishes are very authentic and delicious. We usually stop by on a weekly basis. Enjoy!

Perfectly fine Italian trattoria. Pretty typical of the NJ suburbs. Pasta was a bit on the salty side, but portions are generous

Expensive, for nothing. 22$ for two pieces of chicken and a 2L bottle of coke when ordered a chicken parmesan platter. They didn't serve pasta with it because I didn't ask. Told me they don't give pasta on takeouts. So $20 for two pieces of chicken covered in sauce? Really?

Great food. Fantastic atmosphere. Life music. One of the best Italian restaurants in town. Outside looks great. Lots of space safe and comfortable.

Fabulous Italian cuisine. Lovely staff who are courteous to all and are totally welcoming of children. Braciole is incredible. Brocolli penne is outstanding. As good as Mom's. Go back every time we are in town.

Marcello’s Cuisine is authentic, traditional Italian food. My favorite is the new Eggplant Lasagne, guaranteed to make your day! The tomato sauce is exquisite, that’s what makes the dishes so delicious!

One of our favorite Italian restaurants in the area. Very authentic and never disappoints. Excellent service every single time.

My husband and I ate at Marcello's last night after hearing rave reviews on their chicken parmesan. My husband had it and loved it. My pasta dish was excellent.... greatttttttt sauce. Great service. And BYOB. Casual setting and good prices.

The food is good and decor is nice but there is no website and the online menu is very poor, it makes ordering take out a bad experience.

Me and my family stopped in after visiting my grandfather. High hopes for such a nice building. The food was decent at best. Pizza just ok. The biggest complaint is the attitude from the owner or general manager. Very short and rude about everything. Like our just being there bothered him. Would never go back or recommend to anyone. I have recieved better food and service from nearby Italian places. Try Clemente's Pizzeria or Dimaio.

Food was good, staff attentive. Glad I tried them, and will return.
